  • Plot Summary

    The Hurricane tells the true story of Rubin "Hurricane" Carter, a black man who overcame adversity to become a professional boxer. At the height of his career, Carter was wrongfully convicted of a triple murder and spent the next 20 years in prison. Upon reading Carter's autobiography, a Brooklyn teenager enlists the help of three Canadian activists to fight the system and free Carter from prison.
