Career
Hailing from the Minneapolis/St. Paul are of Minnesota, the members of The Hold Steady released their debut album in 2004 to critical acclaim. Their second album, a loosely based concept album called Separation Sunday, was similarly lauded - although the band had yet to gain commercial success. It wasn't until their third album, 2006's Boys and Girls in America, that the band began to breakthrough to mainstream audiences. Their fourth album, Stay Positive, was released on July 14, 2008.Band Members
