The Hives are a five-piece Rock band from Sweden who rose to fame during the Garage Rock Revival of the early 2000s along with bands such as The Strokes and The White Stripes. Featuring their signature matching outfits and the primitive scream of lead singer Howlin' Pelle Almqvist, the band stormed the states with their 2000 album Veni Vidi Vicious. After a series of tours, the band returned in 2004 with the album Tyrannosaurus Hives - which included the hit single "Walk Idiot Walk". The band's fourth album The Black and White Album was released in 2007.
