The romantic comedy film, The Hammer is about a 39 year old underachieving amateur boxer, who returns to competitive boxing after a 20 year hiatus. Jerry Ferro (Adam Carolla) is down on his luck as a construction worker, and helps to train an Olympic hopeful boxer. Inspired by the training, he embarks on the revival of his own career.
