    Trade publication Production Weekly announced via Twitter on February 24, 2009, that Michel Gondry had been chosen to direct The Green Hornet. Gondry has directed a slew of popular music videos for artists such as The White Stripes, Radiohead and Paul McCartney, as well as films like Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind and Be Kind Rewind.
