The Good Wife is a drama television show that originally premiered in the fall of 2009 on CBS. Plot
After Chicago state attorney Peter Florrick, portrayed by Chris Noth, is arrested for corruption and a sex scandal, wife Alicia Florrick, portrayed by Margulies returns to the workforce as a junior litigator in order to provide for her two children, Zach and Grace. Alicia Florrick attempts to balance family life with professional work, including interacting with others in the law office.
