The Good Girl is a film about Justine Last, a small town girl whose life is stuck in a rut until a stranger moves to town. From the director of Chuck & Buck, the film stars Jennifer Aniston and Jake Gyllenhaal.

From the writer of Chuck & Buck, the script for The Good Girl is considered a modern day version of Lady Chatterley's Lover and Madame Bovary. Also Jake Gyllenhaal's character inspiration comes from author Holden Caulfield, whom the stock boy character he plays believes he's an incarnation of.
