About Demolition Assault
In the Demolition Assault online multiplayer mode, players select one of their crew members from the single-player game. Up to 16 players can play at once and the goal is to take out the enemy's three assault points. Doing so will earn players honor points, which can be used to upgrade weapon licenses. The upgraded weapons can be used online or off, in multiplayer or single-player games.Players should take care to select a crew member whose specialty corresponds to the multiplayer mode. Demolition Assault, of course, is best played with characters who have the demolition specialty. There are also a Safe Cracker and Fire Starter modes, as well as Team Deathmatch.Official Site: The Godfather II Multiplayer
In all the multiplayer matches, one player can take on the role of the Don. This player can float around the entire map in and feed information to his teammates via voice chat or by dropping waypoint beacons. The Don can also reward his team with bulletproof vests or other items when they capture locations. Dons can also bet on the outcome of the match in order to make a few extra bucks, which can be used in the single-player game.GameSpot: The Godfather II Review (April 7, 2009)
