    The Ghosts of Girlfriends Past is inspired by the classic Charles Dickens book A Christmas Carol. An attractive playboy and womanizer, played by Matthew McConaughey, returns home to help his family plan for the wedding of his younger brother. He is then forced to examine his romantic life with the help of ghosts who guide him through an exploration of his past, present and future romantic conquests.
