The Game Plan Film

The Game Plan is a family comedy film about a rich and famous professional quarterback, Joe Kingman (The Rock) who meets a young girl (played by Madison Pettis) who claims to be his daughter. Kingman, a bachelor, plays for the Boston Rebels, a fictitious professional football team and is skeptical of his paternity. The film follows the misadventures of Kingman and his newly discovered daughter.

The Game Plan was #1 its debut week at the box office and grossed over $137 million around the world, despite the fact that it received generally unfavorable reviews. It was the last movie that The Rock used his pro wrestling stage name, opting to be known from then on simply as Dwayne Johnson.
