The Grammy Award winning group The Fugees merged the styles of reggae, soul, hip-hop, and rap. The Fugees, made up of the members Wyclef Jean, Lauryn Hill and Pras Michel, officially broke up in 2007. Their second album The Score was released in 1996. It contained the number one hit single "Killing Me Softly", which was a cover of the original performed by Roberta Flack in the 1970s.
