The Field is the pseudonym used by the Swedish electronic music producer Axel Willner. His music eschews the complex beats and heavy synths that are usually associated with electronic music. Instead, his music uses light bass-lines, simple rhythms, and syncopated samples, all of which are characteristics similar to a style of music called minimal techno.
