Career
Anchored by singer Mark E. Smith's acerbic and politically charged songwriting, the Fall began their long career as part of the United Kingdom punk rock scene in the late 1970s and have survived changes of favor, trends, and members to continue to perform and record into the twenty first century. The Fall has had very few charting hits, however they are credited with influencing bands like Franz Ferdinand, The Smiths, Nirvana, and Pavement.Original Band Members
