The Dukes of Hazzard

The Dukes of Hazzard is a 2005 comedy about the adventures of brothers Bo and Luke Duke as they try to outwit the corrupt Hazzard county lawmen Boss Hogg and Sheriff Rosco P. Coltrane. Based on the popular 1980s television series of the same name, the film stars Johnny Knoxville and Sean William Scott as the Duke brothers, Jessica Simpson as Daisy Duke and singer Willie Nelson as Uncle Jesse. While the film was not an official Broken Lizard production, many of the members of the comedy troupe were involved in the picture, including director Jay Chandrasekhar and actor Kevin Heffernan. While the film received poor reviews, it was a hit at the box office and debuted at #1.
