Plot Summary
This film is based on the true life story of Georgiana Cavendish, played by Keira Knightley. Georgiana is married to the Duke of Devonshire, played by Ralph Fiennes. The film explores the duke's long term affair with the duchess's best friend who lives with them, causing a scandal in 18th century England.
