The Dick Van Dyke Show is a CBS comedy from the 1960s about Rob Petrie (Dick Van Dyke), the head comedy writer for the fictional The Alan Brady Show and his stay at home wife Laura (Mary Tyler Moore). They lived in New Rochelle, New York. It originally aired in black and white television, and all the episodes are now available for purchase on DVD.

In 1966 the show won Emmy Awards for Outstanding Comedy Series, Outstanding Continued Performance by an Actor in a Leading Role in a Comedy Series, Outstanding Continued Performance by an Actress in a Leading Role in a Comedy Series and Outstanding Writing Achievement in Comedy. Throughout the entirety of the series, they won 15 Emmy Awards, and Golden Globe Awards.
