  • Plot Synopsis

    The Dead Zone tells the story of a teacher named Johnny Smith, played by Christophen Walken, who comes out of a five year coma. Smith has the unique psychic ability to predict a person's future just by touching his or her hand. Herbert Lom plays Dr. Sam Weizak, who thinks Johnny Smith can also change the future. Smith can see a nuclear holocaust in the future when he encounters Greg Stillson, a politician played by Martin Sheen. Brooke Adams, Tom Skerritt and Anthony Zerbe co-star.
