The Damned is a band from London, England that has been around since the mid-1970s. They have a combination of punk rock, psychedelic and gothic rock styles. In 2006 the song "Smash It Up" was used in the video game Driver Parallel Lines. The band has split and reunited numerous times but the lead singer Dave Vanian has always been with the group. In 1977 The Damned released their first album titled Damned Damned Damned. They were the first group to release a full length punk rock album in the United Kingdom.
