Synopsis
- Harvard symbologist Profession Robert Langdon was in Paris for business when he was awakened by a late-night phone call summoning him to the Louvre. An elderly curator was murdered inside the museum and the police are puzzled by the gruesome and cryptic clues.
- Considered to be a potential suspect, Langdon goes on the run with the curator's granddaughter and a professional cryptographer, Sophie Neve. The late curator was a high-ranking member of the secret society, the Priory of Sion. Previous members of the Priory included Sir Isaac Newton, Botticelli, Victor Hugo, and Leonardo da Vinci.
