  • The Plot

    The Crow is a story about a guitarist named "Eric Draven" who was killed along with his fiancee. After being brought back to life by a crow on the one year anniversary of his death, he goes on to track down the murderers and get revenge.
  • Brandon Lee

    The 1994 film became the center of attention before it was even released because the star of the film Brandon Lee, son of Bruce Lee, was accidentally shot and killed on the set during filming. The Crow included the first and only non-martial arts role of Lee on film.

    Brandon Lee was killed when a prop gun malfunctioned during the scene where a villain was to shoot at Lee. A real bullet was shot, and it lodged in his spine after piercing through his abdomen. He died six hours after surgery on March 31, 1993.

    The score of The Crow was written by Graeme Revell and Trent Reznor. The original soundtrack album included songs from The Cure, The Jesus and Mary Chain, Nine Inch Nails, Rage Against The Machine, Stone Temple Pilots and Pantera. Cameo appearances were made in the film by the bands My Life with the Thrill Kill Kult and Medicine. In 1995, Stone Temple Pilots won an MTV Movie Awards|MTV Movie Award for the song "Big Empty" which was featured in the film.
