The Comebacks

The Comebacks is a comedy film that spoofs many popular sports-themed films.

David Koechner plays coach Lambeau Fields. Fields is a constant loser and considered one of the worst coaches in sports history. He is convinced to take one last try, so he moves his family to Texas to coach the football team at Heartland State University. Stuck with a team of athletic misfits, Coach Fields comes up with highly unorthodox methods get his team into championship shape. In the process, the story makes fun of several sports movies that have come before it.
