The pop music group The Cheetah Girls originated as a series of books about an ethnically diverse group of friends written by Deborah Gregory. Late November 2008, rumors that the group would break up after their "The Cheetah Girls: One World" tour ends seemed to be confirmed when Cheetah Girl Kiely Williams told In Touch Magazine, "we always knew that this tour would probably be our last.
