The Bucket List is a 2007 film starring Jack Nicholson and Morgan Freeman. The film is directed by Rob Reiner and written by Justin Zackman. It ranked number one at the box office grossing $19,392,416 in 2,911 theaters. The Bucket List was named one of the top ten films of the year by the National Board of Review.
Plot

Carter Chamber (Morgan Freeman) and Edward Cole (Jack Nicholson) are both diagnosed with cancer. They strike up a friendship and decide to break out of the hospital. The pair make a list called "The Bucket List" of all all the things they wish to do before they die.
