The Black Keys

The Black Keys are a minimalist Blues-Rock band from Akron, Ohio whose critically acclaimed brand of Rock has brought the band a loyal and dedicated following. Made up of singer/guitarist Dan Auerbach and drummer Patrick Carney, the group is often compared to The White Stripes due to their similar styles and use of Lo-Fi recording and producing techniques. The duo's latest album, Attack & Release, was originally scheduled to be a collaboration with Rock pioneer Ike Turner, although after the singer's death, the collaboration was scrapped. The album was eventually released and produced by Danger Mouse.
