  • Hong Kong action film The Big Boss was called Fists of Fury in the U.S. and Tang shan da xiong in China. The film marked action star Bruce Lee's major big screen debut and served as a catalyst for his future success in the Asian film industry. The story follows Cheng Chao-An, who discovers that the ice factory he works in is a cover for a drug smuggling cartel. When his cousins, who also work at the same factory, are refuse roles in the operation of the drug cartel they are killed. After Cheng discovers the bodies of his fallen cousins he takes revenge on the gang, killing many members in the process. He returns home only to find that Hsiao Mi, the "Big Boss", has murdered the rest of his family. Cheng then visits Hsiao's mansion for the final showdown.
