• April 17, 2009: While Paul McCartney was performing The Beatles song "Got To Get You Into My Life" at this year's Coachella festival, a sneak preview of the upcoming game The Beatles Rock Band appeared on the screen behind him. Several audience members were of course equipped with camcorders and cell phones, and the footage quickly appeared all over the internet.

  It was later confirmed on McCartney's official website that the clip was indeed from the game: "It was a night of firsts and was the unexpected, unannounced world premiere of the images from the coming Beatle Rock Band game..."Paul McCartney.com: PM.com Exclusive Coachella Review (April 18, 2009)

  The Beatles: Rock Band is a full Rock Band title expected to feature 45 master tracks recorded by The Beatles, including new songs that have never before been heard or released. It is being developed with the creative contributions and support of band members Paul McCartney and Ringo Starr, as well as The Beatles producer Giles Martin and Yoko Ono.
