The Bear and the Bow is an animated fairy tale from Pixar. The headstrong daughter of a Scottish royal family longs to be an archer, and makes an impulsive choice that puts her father's kingdom in jeopardy. The decision forces her to battle evil forces to save the family dynasty.
In April 2008, Disney announced that most upcoming animated Disney/Pixar feature films, including The Bear and the Bow, would be released in Disney Digital 3-D format. In total, the company unveiled ten new theatrical releases through 2012, including Cars 2, Newt, Toy Story 3 and Rapunzel.
