• The Bangles is an all-girl pop music group from Los Angeles. Part of the Paisley Underground scene of the 1980s, the Bangles had a string of hits, including "Walk Like An Egyptian", "Eternal Flame", and "Manic Monday".

  The original members of the group, Susanna Hoffs and sisters Vicki and Debbi Peterson, were still performing in 2009.

  In a separate project, Hoffs collaborated with Matthew Sweet on a collection of 1970s covers, called Under The Covers Vol. 2. It will be released in July 2009.CNN: The Bangles, '80s hitmakers, still making sweet harmony (June 17, 2009)
