The Bad Girls Club

The Bad Girls Club is a 60 minute reality series on the Oxygen Network, currently between it's fourth and fifth seasons. The show follows the interaction of seven women, each of which is considered a to have a "bad girl" lifestyle. The seven women move in to a house in Los Angeles California, in which they coincide for 4 months in attempts to change their lifestyles for the better. These women do not only have bad behavior; many also have psychological problems, and realize their behavior is having a negative effect on their lives. When faced with girls of similar personality, the women on the show learn to control their anger and emotions and behave more appropriately around others. The girls are free to leave the house at any time if they do not feel the situation benefits them. Additionally, girls are often asked to leave the show after particularly harsh episodes of physical violence on other girls. These outbursts are not uncommon, and new girls are often rotated in throughout the season to fill the void of missing housemates.

A reunion show is held after each season has finished airing. Perez Hilton hosted the reunion shows for seasons three and four, replacing Star Jones in season two and Stan Katz in season 1. This show catches up with the lives of the bad girls after the four months of filming commenced. On January 21, 2010, the show was renewed for it's fifth season, and casting began shortly after. This season will bring a move from Los Angeles to Miami, Florida.
