Season Six "After the Final Rose"
This episode starts with Ali and host, Chris Harrison taking a look back at what happened the last day that Frank was there. Chris tells Ali that Frank was scheduled to be there to face her for the first time since the show. Unfortunately, at the last minute Frank backed out and will not be attending.
Next Chris joins host, Chris Harrison to talk about his last day with Ali. Ali told him the day before the final rose ceremony that she loved Roberto. Chris still has feelings for Ali, but he understands that you can't help who you fall in love with and unfortunately Ali loved Roberto more than him. He is appreciative that she did not string him along and let him know how she really felt.
Ali and Chris Harrison talk about Roberto and the process they went through to get to where they are today. She is excited that they can finally go out in public together and don't have to hide their relationship anymore. Roberto joins them and talks about the feeling that they both had the first night that they met. Ali admits that she never believed in love at first sight until that night.
Ali and Roberto talk about their plans for the future. They have an apartment in San Diego where they will be living together. Roberto has already moved in and Ali can now move her stuff since there is no more hiding. They have discussed a wedding for next summer but there are no dates set yet. They are most excited to finally get to be normal again. Chris tells them that there is a helicopter waiting to take whisk them off to an all expense paid trip to Catalina Island in California. So the fairy tale continues...

She has already made her choice and it is not him. After losing his mom and all the hurt he has been through, Ali does not want to cause more hurt for him by spending the day pretending. Chris understands and is very supportive of her decision even though he is hurt.
Before the final rose ceremony, we already know Ali's decision, but will Roberto be ready to make the commitment? In his interviews he is saying that he doesn't know what he is going to do. So even though he told Ali that he loves her, he still seems unsure of taking things to the next step.
Roberto doesn't know that Ali has already sent Chris home. He tells her that he has spent all last night and this morning thinking, because he wanted to make the right decision. And then he tells Ali that he loves her and wants to spend his life with her. Ali then tells him that he is the only guy there today and that she loves him so much. Roberto gets down on one knee and proposes and of course Ali says yes. Will it last? Who knows but for that moment they had their fairy tale ending!
Video Recap: "The Men Tell All"
This video recaps the episode where the men discuss things amongst themselves. For more details, read the episode summary below.
Season Six "The Men Tell All"
Tonight on The Bachelorette, Ali comes face to face with some of the men that she has rejected during her time as this seasons bachelorette. The show starts with host, Chris Harrison sitting down and talking with Ali about some of the more memorable moments that happened this season like finding out about Justin's girlfriends.
Then the men dish the dirt on each other and the things that went on with Ali during the show. Many of the guys confront Jonathon, "the weatherman" about him going to Ali and telling her that Craig M. was dangerous. They believe that he should have been able to say it to Craig's face rather than running to Ali. From there, the discussion moves to the revelation that Frank made last week about still being in love with his ex-girlfriend, Nicole. Many of the guys including Craig R. believe that Frank came on the show with good intentions, while the other guys believe that he used his girlfriend as a standby in case Ali sent him home at some point. They all seem to agree that he was being selfish and should have come clean sooner than what he did.
There were many references throughout the show to Kasey saying that "he was there to guard and protect Ali's heart." Kasey's singing and getting the tattoo came off to many as kind of "stalkerish" and in the end was part of the reason that he was sent home.
Kirk sits down with Chris and talks about Ali not giving him a rose, his illness and his feelings after Ali kept Frank over him, and then the way Frank left the show the next week. Kirk and Frank were good friends and he had told Frank how strongly he felt about Ali, so it was hard for him to deal with the way Frank left.
Justin chose not to be at the show, but that didn't stop them from talking about him. Most of the bachelors did not like him from the get go, and several of them had even said in the beginning that he was not there for the right reasons. They feel like he took a spot away from those that were really there to find love with Ali. Craig R. refutes all of Justin's allegations that production and Chris Harrison set him up by saying that, "this was just an a**hole being an a**hole." Jessie from the last season of "The Bachelor" is the one that brought the fact that Justin had a girlfriend to the attention of the show. Jessie and Ali were friends on the show and after the show ended. Jessie was contacted by e-mail about Justin's girlfriends and made sure that she was 100% sure that this was true before contacting the producers of the show. Justin's two girlfriends, Jessica and Kimberly lived 5 minutes away from each other.
At the end Ali comes out and talks about the emotional roller coaster ride that she has been on during the show. She talks a little about Justin, how she was truly blindsided by Frank's revelation about still being in love with his ex-girlfriend, and Kasey takes the opportunity to sing one more song to Ali.
Next week on the finale of The Bachelorette, Ali will take Roberto and Chris to meet her family before the final rose ceremony. Will she choose Roberto or Chris? It looks like we will all have to wait and see how this fairy tale journey turns out for each one of them.
Season Six Episode Nine
On episode nine of the bachelorette, Ali was down to the final three guys. Her date with Roberto went so well that she decided to spend the night with him. Her date with Chris went off nicely as well, and the couple managed to find some pearls along the way too. The real shocker, however, came when Frank shared his epiphany with Ali that he was actually still in love with his ex-girlfriend Nicole. Though slightly upset, Ali took the news as gracefully as can be expected, but it certainly did not help Frank's overall appeal.

Season Six Episode Eight
Ali is down to the final four guys, and this week she goes to each of their hometowns to meet their families. The first hometown date was with Roberto in Tampa. They had a great day together with his family. Ali also got to see him in his baseball uniform, which she loved. From there she took a trip to Cape Cod to meet Chris and his family. The first thing that Ali noticed were all the pictures and mementos around the house of his mother who passed away a while back. Her one-on-one talk with Chris's father was touching as he talked about love and what he wants for his son.
The next hometown date took place in Green Bay with Kirk. Ali was a bit nervous because Kirk's mother and father are divorced and he had told her that they don't speak to each other. Ali got over the nervousness after meeting both sides of Kirk's family and seeing the love that each had for their son. For the last hometown date, Ali heads to Chicago to meet Frank and his family. Frank's insecurities are starting to worry her and she even starts to second guess their feelings a little. While spending the day with his family, the worries take a backseat. She fit right in with the family and they all really liked her.
Once these dates are over the hard part begins for Ali. She has feelings for each one of the guys and knows that she is going to hurt someone. At the rose ceremony, she tries to explain to the final four just how hard this decision has been and tells them that her final decision is not a reflection on them or their families. In the end, Ali chose to send Kirk home. It seems like their connection was just a bit behind where she was with the other three guys. Next week they will be traveling to Tahiti where she will spend time with the final three and decide which two will be going to the final rose ceremony.

Season Six Episode Seven
Ali is down to the final five guys and the decisions she has to make will continue to get harder each week. Ali and Roberto go sightseeing on their one-on-one date. The date ends with them having a picnic on the steps of a castle. Ty and Frank get picked for the two-on-one date. After a helicopter ride to a castle for dinner, Ali has questions for them that she needs to ask them each alone. Ali and Kirk take a horse drawn carriage to a palace for their one-on-one date. Ali confides some of her fears to Kirk as they dine on the rooftop of the palace. Chris and Ali have the last date this week. They visit a winery and Chris surprises Ali by giving her a bracelet. At the rose ceremony, Ali gives a rose to everyone but Ty. Ty goes home even though he thought that he was the perfect guy for her. Off we go to the final four. The heat is on, so lets see which guy can withstand the fire.
Season Six Episode Six
In the episode of The Bachelorette, Ali talks to a woman named Jessica. Jessica claims that her boyfriend is on the show and not because he is looking for love. Jessica informs Ali that her boyfriend, Justin is on the show to gain fame. When Ali confronts Justin he packs his bags. She tries to talk to him but he leaves. He does come back but doesn't offer up much in his own defense.
Getting past the drama, Ali and Ty have a one-on-one date that gets a little steamy. Ty gets a rose and is safe for another week. The group date is with Kirk, Roberto, Craig R. and Chris L. Ali surprises the guys by telling them they have to wrestle with Turkish oil wrestlers in order to win some one-on-one time during the date. They get to practice with the pros before taking on each other for the oil wrestling title. Craig isn't feeling confident because he isn't as athletic as the other guys. The final match comes down to Craig and Roberto with Craig winning. The next one-on-one date is with Frank. They have a nice dinner and talk about their relationship. In the end, Franks gets a rose and is safe this week.
Ali shocks the guys by requesting to skip the cocktail party and get straight to the rose ceremony. She knows what she needs to do and the chit chat and pleas are not necessary this week. Craig R. goes home. Ali says that the romance just wasn't there between them.
Season Six Episode Five
If this episode did not take place in Iceland, there would be no reason for anyone to watch. The scenery was more than fantastic, but really couldn't help the boredom of this two-hour snooze fest. Ali has not been a dream bachelorette for ABC, so the producers had to latch on to the saga of the tattoo. Boring and no surprises there. Kasey has a few issues, to say the least, and Ali handled his "stalking" tendencies with grace. After showing her his tattoo, she gave the rose to "Rated R," and left Kasey to fend for himself on a snow-laden glacier.
To win the one-on-one date, the guys had to write and recite love poems to Ali. Frank and Kirk did the best job, and because Frank already scored a one-on-one, the date went to Kirk. On the date, he revealed to Ali that during college, he almost succumbed to death by mold. The story appeared to endear Kirk to her, leaving him to capture the rose of the evening.
In the end, Chris N. was sent home, along with Kasey. Bye Chris...too bad we hardly knew you.
Season Six Episode Four
If you follow this spoiler page, earlier on you read that Kasey got a tattoo. What wasn't mentioned was that this tattoo was a shield covering a rose, and stood for his first night vow to Ali that he would shield her heart. He is forced to admit to the guys that he was lying about a burn on his arm, and a twelve hour stay in the hospital, when wrestle-mania-man forces his hand and calls him out. He reveals to them that he really got a tattoo and explains the meaning behind it. I found it sadly funny that ABC's editing showed all of the guys either wincing, laughing about it or trying to contain their negative feelings about Kasey's "romantic" move, while Kasey's take was just the opposite. I wonder what was left on the cutting room floor? Poor clueless Kasey...how could he not see his imminent demise after that? Oh, and what about his glare when confronted by wrestle-mania-man? I was so uncomfortable I had to divert my eyes. Stalker anyone?
The men had to make fools of themselves and sing and dance for a role on Broadway's "The Lion King" for a one-on-one date with Ali. Some were good, while others were not, and the ultimate winner was salsa-man Roberto. Who didn't see that coming? It was enjoyable to watch the final performance, and in my mind, the winner was clinched right there. The roles were sexy and hot, as the two hung suspended in the air while entwined, in spite of the fact that Ali was sicker than a dog.
Season Six Episode Three
Roberto hit pay dirt with the scary high-flying tightrope walk. Funny thing though, Ali seemed way more frightened of the helicopter ride than she did walking across thin air. In the middle of the walk she fearlessly leaned over, at Roberto's command, and kissed him. Her fearlessness made no sense to me, unless the powers-that-be had a fool-proof safe haven two feet below, and out of the viewer's sight.
Justin pulled a fast one when he and his crutches took a few mile hike in search of Ali. He encroached on Hunter's one-on-one-date time by hanging with Ali at her house, but I never did think Hunter was Ali's type, and truthfully, she probably wasn't too concerned that she had to pretend to have fun a few hours less that night. Hunter left right after the date.
The Barenaked Ladies photo shoot got steamy when Kirk and Ali landed in a bedroom scene. The kissing and rolling around went on a bit longer than necessary, and aroused the dander of a few of the guys.
Ultimately, John C. and Steve's fate was the same as Hunter's.
Season Six Episode Two
Did you catch the scary crazy-eyed look of Craig M.'s eyes as he constantly badgered Jonathan? What was with the torment? It appeared that the two were back in High School. Jonathan, otherwise known as the weatherman, initially took the high road, but ruined it with constant moaning about his tormentor. He almost broke down in tears when he was presented with a Speedo to wear for the Malibu photo shoot, but should have just sucked it up and "worked it" from the get-go. Personally speaking, and possibly speaking for most women, whining is a major turn-off, so there is no surprise that he doesn't make it to the end. ABC didn't have much to go on in this episode, but honestly, the childish feud was way over done. Ali dumped Craig M. after learning, from Jonathan, that he was dangerous.
Frank scored with a one-on-one date and ended up with a romantic evening under the Hollywood sign, after fending off the paparazzi on Hollywood Blvd. The two of them couldn't keep their hands or lips off each other.
Tyler V., Craig M. and Chris H. are sent packing.
Season Six Spoilers (Ali Fedotowsky)
If you read the earlier post, you will see that this season will have some surprises, but what you might not know is this season has some of the lamest men ever. I was almost bored to tears during the first two hours and wondered what happened in the casting department of ABC. They certainly weren't looking for someone to knock Ali's socks off, but then I suppose that doesn't make for good television, I mean heck, why would anyone want to view a good love story?
I'll skip through the boring introductions and get right to the meat of the show, the eliminations. Ali dismissed some of the "charmers" and was left with the motley crew of Roberto, Justin, Jesse, Ty, Craig R., Tyler V., Frank, Steve, Chris L., Kirk, John C., Chris N., Chris H., Hunter, Craig M., Jonathan and Kasey. Now I know you are wondering how they plan to produce a show out of them, but take a look at the following spoilers for a glimpse of what is in store for Ali.
Justin supposedly has a girlfriend, and she conveniently calls Ali to let her know. Does that phone call speak to revenge or the need for 15 minutes of fame? I wonder.
Frank tells on himself, while in Tahiti. He also has a girlfriend, but maybe just needed a Tahitian vacation before spilling the beans. If this is any indication of the great job that casting did, they should all be replaced. I'm just saying....
Chris H., Craig from Canada, Steve, John C. and Tyler V get the boot early on, and Roberto gets the fear-and-love-stimulating single date. This season the two of them walk a tight rope, which bodes well for a lasting bond and the final rose. Why? Well studies have shown that two people placed in a fear-inducing situation produce oxytocin in the brain, which causes a chemical addiction to each other. Remember the bungee jumping with Vienna and Jake? We all thought he was crazy to keep her around, but nah, he was only addicted to her. Does using this particular type of date each season make you wonder if the producers psychologically manipulate the outcome of the show? http://www.oxytocin.org/oxytoc/love-science.html
The Barenaked Ladies are the featured musicians this season... yippee.
Kasey gets a one-on-one date, fails to get a rose, yet still stays around. I am not quite sure how that happens, but that is the rumor. I wonder if his brand-spanking-new rose tattoo had any impact on the situation. Probably not because as soon as he shows Ali the tattoo, he loses out to Justin on their two-on-one date.
Kirk, Frank, Roberto and Chris L. all remain for the hometown dates, and according to Reality Steve, Roberto or Chris L. will be the final man sniffing that rose. My bet is on Roberto. What do you think?
Rumors are starting Early...
The show is still almost a month away, but rumors are flying that one of the new 2010 season bachelors has a girlfriend back home, and he is on the show for the notoriety. Word has it that his girlfriend conveniently calls Ali, while the cameras are rolling, and exposes him for the cad he is. Humm, and just how did she get the phone number? Maybe a little help from the show?www.buddytv.com/the-bachelorette.aspx
Now for the early spoilers:
Eight unlucky (or maybe they are really the lucky ones) guys are booted. We know from an early press viewing that fisherman Kyle and skier Jason fail to impress Ali and are booted off the first night.
The show's villain is revealed early on, and surprise surprise...Ali keeps him around. Do you ever wonder why? I don't any more. It has become too obvious. What do you think? Anyway, I will "out him" early so you can keep your eye on him. His name is Justin and he is a professional wrestler who goes by the name "Rated R." When the series premieres, look for the guy using the crutches.
A Salsa-dancing Latino makes a huge impact on Ali, and in return, is awarded the first impression rose. His name is Roberto.
Once again, Chris Harrison has the guys vote on their least favorite bachelor. Justin is the big winner. Did I mention a villain yet?
Former Bachelorettes

Jen Schefft chose no one, but Jerry Ferris was the final man
