The A-Team was an action adventure television show that aired on NBC between 1983-1987 about a group of Vietnam War veterans and ex-U.S. Army special forces who work as hired mercenaries for different groups each episode. While the show was often criticized for its formulaic plots and cartoon violence, the show was a success and went on to develop a "Cult" following, as well as helping to launch the career of Mr. T. A long-rumored film version of the series is said to be in development.
