The 11th Hour is a feature documentary created, produced and narrated by Leonardo DiCaprio about the human impact on our natural environment.
Containing archive footage and interviews with former Soviet Prime Minister Mikhail Gorbachev, scientist Stephen Hawking and over fifty other scientists, leaders and thinkers, the film details how human actions have impacted the natural world. Climate change, deforestation, species depletion and extinction are shown as examples of the negative effects of mass industrialization. The film goes on to explore possible solutions to reduce the human impact on the earth and stresses the importance of changing our current ways of thinking and living before the damage is irreversible.
