Stuffing is a bread-based dish. It is made by taking day-old bread and gently mixing it with spices, nuts, fruits, vegetables and other items. It is then stuffed inside the cavity of a bird, usually a turkey or chicken. If it is baked outside of the bird, it is then called dressing.
