Texas Exit Polls

The state of Texas offers 34 electoral votes, the second highest total in the United States. Pre-election polls showed GOP candidate John McCain with a double-digit lead over Democrat Barack Obama. McCain maintained at least a 5% lead since his nomination and was the projected winner of the state.
