Texas A&M University is one of the ten largest American universities. It is a public university located in College Station, Texas. Initially named the Agricultural and Mechanical College of Texas, its name was officially changed to Texas A&M University in 1963. It is now the flagship university of the Texas A&M system. It is known for its academics, its research, its sports, and for its significant output of military commissioned officers. It is the site of the George Bush Presidential Library.
