The Tesla Model S sedan is a newly-unveiled high performance electric car manufactured by Tesla Motors, maker of the coveted Tesla Roadster. Expected to go on sale in late 2011, the Tesla Model S sedan will be offered at a base price of $50,000 and will have a range of up to 300 miles when fully charged.
