Tesla is Hard Rock band that formed in 1984 in Sacramento, California. whose biggest hit was a cover of the Five Man Electrical Band song "Signs". When the band formed it was originally named "City Kidd" and was renamed while recording their first album Mechanical Resonance.

Members of Tesla
The original members of Tesla included singer Jeff Keith, guitarists Frank Hannon and Tommy Skeoch, bassist Brian Wheat and drummer Troy Luccketta. Skeoch, who had a long history of drug abuse, was replaced by Dave Rude in 2006. -

Tesla did a good job with theirs. Poison and Def Lep both sucked. And I say this even though Poison is my favorite band!
