  • NHL Career

    Terry Murray was drafted by the California Golden Seals in 1970. He made his NHL debut in the 1972-73 season. Murray played for the Seals through the 1974-75 season. The Philadelphia Flyers signed Terry Murray in 1975, where he played until he moved to the Detroit Red Wings in 1977. He returned to the Flyers for five games in the 1978-79 season and then played 71 games in 1980-81.     Terry Murray started his coaching career in 1983 as an assistant coach for the Washington Capitals.
