Terry Joe Sedlacek

Terry Joe Sedlacek of Troy, Illinois, was charged with first-degree murder on March 9, 2009, in the shooting of Pastor Fred Winters of a Maryville, Illinois church. Winters was shot and killed during a morning church service on March 8, 2009. Fred Winters was performing morning service in the First Baptist Church in Maryville, Illinois, around 8:00 a.m. on March 9, 2009, when Sedlacek allegedly walked up to him, started talking to him and shot him several times with a gun.
