Terry Funk is a professional wrestler known for his hardcore style in the ring. He has wrestled for the NWA, WWE, WCW and AJPW, winning multiple titles in each organization. His time in ECW, however, is perhaps his most remembered.
While feuding with Cactus Jack, Sabu and Tommy Dreamer in ECW, Funk also competed in a "King of the Death Match" tournament in IWA Japan. In the finals, he and Cactus Jack fought through tables, ladders, chairs, barbed wire, thumbtacks and C4 explosives in what was one of the most brutal matches in wrestling history.
He later won the ECW Championship from Raven in 1997, then lost it to Sabu in a bloody barbed wire match where both men were visibly torn open.
After brief stints in WWE and WCW in ensuing years, Funk currently wrestles in the independent circuit, despite having several "retirement" matches already.
