  • Terry Crews is an American actor and former football player. He plays the role of Julius Rock, father of Chris Rock, on The CW sitcom Everybody Hates Chris. Upon high school graduation, Crews received a full athletic scholarship for football at Western Michigan University. In 1991, he was drafted into the NFL by the Los Angeles Rams. From there, he was traded to several other NFL teams. Crews made the decision to trade football for acting, and in 2000, he made his film debut with a small role in the Arnold Schwarzenegger action film The 6th Day.
  • Film Career

    Along with his recurring role on Everybody Hates Chris, Terry Crews has appeared as a sports personality on several films. He portrayed football player Latrell Spencer in White Chicks, where he pursued the affections of Shawn Wayans character, in drag. In Balls of Fury he had a small role as Freddie Fingers, a champion table tennis player. He also played an athlete-turned-politico in Mike Judge's Idiocracy, where his role as Dwayne Elizondo Mountain Dew Herbert Camacho brought Crews' brand of comedy to the fore.
