• Terrence Howard is an is an Academy Award-nominated film and stage actor. His first major role was in the 1995 film Mr. Holland's Opus with Richard Dreyfuss. This led to a number of film roles and high visibility among African-American audiences. He debuted on Broadway in 2008 as Brick in an all-African-American production of Tennessee Williams's Cat on a Hot Tin Roof under the direction of Debbie Allen and co-starring James Earl Jones as Big Daddy, Phylicia Rashad as Big Mama and Anika Noni Rose as Maggie.
