About the Game
The Terminator Salvation game was developed in conjunction with production of the film. The development team worked to reproduce the visual look and feel of the post-apocalyptic world portrayed in the movie, which fans of the Terminator franchise expect to see. Effort was also made to create believable locations that reflect what devastated cities and landscapes might actually look like. To do this, the dev team studied actual abandoned cities like Chernobyl.Also, the Terminator storyline, having evolved over 24 years, is now expansive and detailed. Fans would certainly notice any discrepancies or inconsistencies. GRIN had access to the same research materials that the filmmakers did, including machines that had been created for previous films but later scrapped due to time constraints. The Terminator Salvation game was developed for the Xbox 360, PS3, PC and iPhone. It has a release date of May 19, 2009.
