Terminator Salvation is the fourth installment of the popular Terminator film series. In this edition, Christian Bale portrays human savior, John Conner, who was featured as a young man in the second and third films, as an adult. The film is slated for a May 21, 2009 release date.
Apple released a four minute video in early May 2009, which begins in 2018, and shows the devastation of "judgment day." The video reveals the resistance fighters and their proposed defense against the machines which are taking over.

March Video Trailer

A new trailer for the film appeared online on March 2, 2009. In the trailer Bale's character explains that they are outnumbered by machines. The machines are winning the war and have learned how to create themselves with a human likeness. One machine, named Marcus Wright, is captured. He looks, sounds and acts human. As the trailer ends, men, machines and men who look like machines, battle against one another.
Arnold Schwarzenegger

Plot Synopsis

Set in the year 2018, 14 years after the conclusion of Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines, Salvation opens with resistance fighter John Conner encountering a decommissioned Terminator robot known as "Marcus." Together, they must venture deep inside SkyNet and prevent the villainous computer system's decimation of the human race.
Linda Hamilton

On February 19, 2009, MTV.com confirmed that Linda Hamilton was in negotiations to appear in Terminator Salvation. Hamilton will reportedly provide voice-over narration for the film.
