The University of Tennessee Volunteers basketball team plays in the Southeastern Conference of the NCAA. Coached by Bruce Pearl, the Volunteers play home games at Thompson-Boling Arena in Knoxville, Tennessee.
In February of 2008, the Volunteers reached the #1 spot in the AP Poll for the first time in school history.
