Teen Second Life

Teen Second Life (TSL) is a place where kids can be themselves and hang out with other kids, age thirteen to seventeen. Teens from all over the world come to visit this site. You can build and sell items and also make money from TSL.

TSL gives you eight choices of what your starter character will look like, until you can go and buy clothes and skins. You don't have to be human; you could be a werewolf, a ghost, a dog, and even a dragon. All in all, this site was built with teens in mind. Adults can join TSL, but only on an island that they can't leave. They can join to educate kids from around the world instead of just one spot in one city in one state.

TSL was made in mid-2005 for the sole purpose of making a place for kids to hang out and play. Around the time TSL was made, a large number of teens wanted to play on the main Second Life grid. Linden Lab created TSL to make a safe place for teens to play until they turned eighteen. When they turn eighteen, they are transferred to the adult grid and everything they have in their inventory will go with them. http://teen.secondlife.com

Average TSL users are sixteen year old boys. TSL has about 1.5% percent of the total registrations of the Adult version of Second Life. Most of the users on TSL are from America and Canada.
