The website Tedmosbyisajerk.com was created by CBS for the television sitcom How I Met Your Mother. Ted Mosby's (Josh Radnor) name is dragged through the mud when he is portrayed as a jerk by his friend Barney (Neil Patrick Harris).
Website Premise
After the character of Barney (played by Neil Patrick Harris) has a one night stand, he runs out on the woman and leaves a harsh good-bye note. During their tryst, Barney used his friend Ted Mosby's name. The woman became irate and created the website Tedmosbyisajerk.com in retaliation. In the episode entitled "The Bracket", Barney runs into the woman again and finds out she has a site dedicated to his/Ted's destruction. Barney apologizes to the woman for his bad behavior.
