Biography
Ted Dekker was born in Indonesia, to Christian missionaries, John and Helen Dekker. According to Dekker, his early years were lonely ones, having been sent to boarding school, along with his siblings.Official Site: Ted's Life Story Part 1
In his biography, Dekker claims that his happiest times were those spent climbing trees and racing through the jungle with his brother Danny while on vacation from school. He proposed, and the couple was married a year later. After college he moved to California and took a job delivering medical supplies. Within three years after graduating college, he had been promoted to Director of Marketing].
