Tears of the Sun is a 2003 war movie, directed by Antoine Fuqua and starring Bruce Willis. The movie is about a mission of the U.S. Navy SEALs to save an American doctor in the middle of a civil war in Nigeria. The movie also stars Monica Bellucci.
Plot Summary

Lieutenant A.K. Waters is given a mission to rescue an American doctor, who is trapped in the middle of a civil war in Nigeria. While saving the doctor is their main mission, they find themselves helping the refugees as well.
