The Texas Christian University football team plays college football as a member of the Mountain West Conference. Known by their nickname, the Horned Frogs, the team plays their home games at Amon Carter Stadium on campus in Fort Worth.

Great Horny Toads
The team has won 14 conference championships spanning five different conferences, the most recent in 2005. The school also has had one player win the Heisman Trophy, Davey O'Brien in 1938.In addition to O'Brien, many great players in football history played at TCU. These include Sammy Baugh, Bob Lilly and LaDainian Tomlinson. Others that contributed to the TCU legacy of excellence are Jim Swink, Kenneth Davis, Larry Brown, Aaron Schobel, Norm Bilaich, Greg Townsend, Mike Renfro, Darrell Lester, Kyle Clifton and Casey Printers.
